The Eclipse Model 88-SS stainless steel sampling station is designed specifically for collecting bacteriological samples at a designated point directly from the water main. The Model 88-SS provides a 24/7 designated sampling site to retrieve samples at any time versus sampling from homes and businesses. Sampling stations have been shown to lower false positive samples, speed collection times, and reduce liability. The Eclipse Model 88-SS is a non-draining unit that requires the use of manual evacuation hand pump (sold separately) to prevent freezing. The Eclipse Model 88-SS provides the following features and benefits:
Have many of the same features and functionality of the “Intelligent” flusher with the added benefit that the Genesis unit is self-powered. The Genesis flusher incorporates a water turbine and a 24VDC battery bank (no outside power source needed). The unit uses any flushed water to run the turbine which charges the batteries that provide power to the analytical equipment. Additional sensors can be incorporated including, but not limited to: temperature, pH, psi, turbidity, conductivity and ORP. Sampling lines are heated using self-regulating heat trace. Unit is fully maintainable from above ground.
Incorporate a built-in chlorine analyzer to measure and record disinfectant residual levels based on a programmed sampling schedule. Users can input minimum and desired residual levels, initial blow-off time and a maximum flushing duration. The unit will operate under these parameters and will flush when detected residuals are below minimum prescribed levels flushing only the exact amount of water needed until desired residuals are reached. All residual and flushing data is recorded and can be exported via micro-SD card or SCADA protocol. This flusher requires 120 VAC line power.
Kupferle helps thousands of utilities to meet water quality regulations each day by using their latest in dedicated water sampling stations and automatic flushing technologies. Kupferle post hydrants, blow-offs and automatic flushing devices are added to potable water lines to ensure quality water within any water system. Kupferle manufactures hydrants for wash-down and flushing needs for manufacturing facilities, decorative yard hydrants for homeowners, as well as decorative hydrants for sports and recreational facilities.
The MainGuard Model 77 provides the best in performance and value. It is our number one seller in the Ontario market. Designed and engineered specifically for flushing, the Model 77 provides excellent flow rates for improving chlorine residual levels and flushing disinfection by-products to keep water safe for consumers. The unique valve design allows for a full clear-channel flow that is superior to other blow-offs for moving water and passing debris easily. The Model 77 plunger is also designed to allow for throttling the flow of water while at the same time covering the drain hole to avoid unnecessary erosion.
