While most other manufacturers guarantee low flow accuracy to only ¼ gpm, Neptune guarantees flow rates as low as 1/8 gpm. When leaks exist, they usually exist at flow rates less than ¼ gpm; and, more importantly, are continuous leaks. A household with a leak of 1/8 gpm will lose approximately 65,700 gallons of water per year. If the water meter does not accurately capture this usage, the Utility may undercharge the customer by as much as 65%.
All Neptune meters are Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) capable and easily upgradeable from direct read registers to any of Neptune's absolute encoder registers.

 CE 5320X Handheld
Neptune's ARB ® Utility Management Systems™ automate the process of reading and billing meters in a walk-by mode. The meter reading software on the CE5320X handheld computer efficiently guides the meter reader from premise to premise, determining which meters are to be read either manually, probed, or via radio frequency communications regardless of industry type. Upon route completion, meter readings are exported to the host software which seamlessly interfaces with the CIS/Billing system.

 TX950 mobile data collector
Neptune’s mobile data collection systems are designed to maximize productivity and minimize the labor costs associated with the mobile meter reading process. Neptune’s system is comprised of the MRX920 and the MTX950 mobile data collectors. The MRX920 is compatible with Neptune's R900® RF MIUs, and the MTX950 is compatible with Neptune's R900 RF MIUs as well as Itron's electric ERTs and R300s. Both mobile data collectors reliably receive RF-based meter readings and accurately and efficiently communicate the collected meter reading data to Neptune's meter reading software which enables and facilitates the meter reading and customer billing processes.
Both the MRX920 and the MTX950 have the ability to collect over 70 meter readings per second from up to a mile away and can devour meter readings from the most dense urban routes from distances that not only maximize meter reading success rates and drive-time efficiency but make our competitors turn green with envy. Utilizing either the MRX920 or the MTX950 to read R900 RF MIUs significantly improves the efficiency of the meter reading and customer billing processes and results in overall productivity gains for the utility.

The Brooks Multi-Lok is a high security disposable cable seal supplied with a 1/16” inch (2mm) steel cable 24” long. Mult-Lok is available in a metallic finish or a variety of colors. Seals are provided with company name and consecutive numbering. Your choice of stamping, ink-jet or laser etched and bar coding. Removal requires cable cutters.
